From October 29 to November 1, 2012 Asia Power Transmission and Control Exhibition (PTC Asia 2012) was held in Shanghai New International Expo Center. Schaeffler, with a wide range of advanced bearing products, attended this exhibition.

PTC is the largest exhibition in Asia’s power transmission industry. This year it attracted more than 1,000 domestic and foreign exhibitors, and received around 20,000 visitors everyday. As a leading bearing supplier worldwide, this is the 7th time of Schaeffler to attend PTC Asia. During the four-day show, Schaeffler demonstrated its advanced bearing products for industrial power transmission sector, including cylinder roller bearing, spherical roller bearing, deep groove ball bearing, tapered roller bearing, needle roller bearing, spherical plain bearing, plain bearing, and X-Life series with extremely long lifetime. Schaeffler also demonstrated application solutions for industrial gearbox, hydraulic unit, fluids pump, compressor, forklift etc. Among the shown products, the Solar Collector Gearbox and Hand Axis for Painting Robots, which are equipped with INA angular contact roller bearing AXS series, attracted great attention. INA AXS series products have high axial and radial load carrying capacity, and can be integrated directly in the housing for compact design.

With strong brand awareness, advanced products, excellent location and design, Schaeffler’s booth at PTC Asia 2012 attracted a great number of visitors. Everyday a service team made up by over 10 experienced German and Chinese engineers provides detailed and professional consultation to visitors. Representatives from a number of well-known companies in power transmission industry have visited Schaeffler’s booth.
